Mark Lowy serves as a Strength and Conditioning Coach and Associate Pitching Coordinator at CSP-FL. He completed his internship in the spring of 2018. Prior to joining the staff, Mark trained and coached high school and college athletes in the New York and New Jersey area. He also served as an assistant baseball coach at Ridgewood High School (NJ).
Mark graduated from Gettysburg College in 2014.
PRESENTER CONFIRMED: Jim Penders (Head Coach, UConn). The Mohegan Sun World Baseball Coaches' Convention is excited to have UConn Head Coach Jim Penders back at WBCC in 2026.
Coach Penders will enter his 23rd season as head coach of the UConn Huskies in 2026. A five-time Conference Coach of the Year, Penders has led UConn to a 773-496-5 overall record during his tenure, making him the Huskies’ winningest baseball coach ever. During that he’s led UConn to 10 NCAA appearances, reaching the Super Regionals three times and has won ten regular or conference titles. He has a remarkable player development track record, with 18 of his players being name All-Americans, 78 signing professional contracts, and 9 playing in the MLB. Jim has the longest-tenured coaching staff in D1 Baseball.
