Collegiate Baseball League
The New England Collegiate Baseball League is summer baseball at its best, representing the most competitive brand of amateur wooden bat summer baseball in the country. With 13 teams located in all six New England States and nearly 150 Major League Baseball alumni, the league entertains our region for two months every summer. A BIG CONGRATS 👏 to two-time World Baseball presenter Roberto Mercado who was just named the Manager of the ⚾️ Baltimore Orioles AA Bowie BaySox. Just three years ago, Coach Mercado was the head baseball coach at New Britain High School (CT) and coaching in the Cape Cod League during the summer. Last year, he managed the Orioles' Single A Aberdeen Ironbirds and in 2022 he won the organization’s Cal Ripken, Sr. Player Development Award. The World Baseball Coaches’ Convention wishes Roberto continued success this season.
